Bhakti Basel at Soul Garden

December 11-17 2023

Greetings Friends & Members of Sacred Vedic Arts,

What an exciting week of special holy days ahead! Last week was nectarean as the Holy Names were spread far and wide around Miami, and to the world.

Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to:

Bhakti Basel at Sole Garden – Windows to the Spiritual World

Last week at Art Basel the biggest art showcase in the world, many visitors experienced the  ‘Bhakti Basel’ at Sole Garden. The highlight was undoubtedly the mesmerizing art of Srimati Syamarani Dasi, drawing many passerby’s from across the globe.

Each piece spoke a language of devotion, blending Vedic wisdom with aesthetic beauty. Amidst the beautiful paintings, delectable prasadam was served, nourishing both body and soul. The evenings were enlivened with live Kirtan and Kirtan-infused DJ sets, creating a unique spiritual ambiance that captivated and moved everyone present.

Spreading Joy at Upper Buena Vista Mall

Over at Upper Buena Vista Mall, our team did a great job sharing the message of our disciplic succession. They sang, danced, and talked to people about Bhakti Yoga. It was inspiring to see their energy and how they brought smiles to everyone’s faces. A few people from the mall even visited our temple this past weekend.

Special Open House with Srimati Syamarani Dasi and Srauti Maharaja

Our Open House was special this week. Srimati Syamarani Dasi showed us her paintings and shared the stories behind them. We also had Srauti Maharaja with us, who made us all laugh and think with his talks. We wrapped up with a great Kirtan session, thanks to Sandipani Muni Das and Vijay Krsna Das Prabhu.

A Big Thank You to Everyone

We couldn’t do this without our amazing SVA family and friends. Your hard work and dedication make all of this possible. We’re so grateful for your help and hope our spiritual teachers keep blessing you.

Looking Ahead

Let’s keep this positive energy going! Here’s to more great events and spreading the joy of Bhakti Yoga.

For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain.
