Creative Solutions for Nonprofit Leaders
On Tuesday, Haridas prabhu attended a workshop hosted by the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders. The session, “Creative Solutions for Nonprofit Leaders,” used fast-paced and practical exercises to explore new ways for groups to solve problems. These tools help our leaders strengthen their skills so we can better serve our city side by side with other community organizations.

Tuning-In on Transcendental Tuesday
Also on Tuesday, we had a wonderful “Transcendental Tuesday” with Krsnamayi dasi. She brought a sense of sweetness and realness to the group as she shared how important it is to stay regulated in our devotional practice.

The Temple Maha-Clean
Last Thursday, our entire community joined together for a Maha-clean. Everyone took part in taking the temple apart, cleaning every inch, and putting it back together again. Srila Prabhupada said, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”

Sacredly Rooted: Dharmic Wisdom for Uncertain Times
On Saturday, our devotees participated in the North American Hindu Chaplains Association’s annual conference, Sacredly Rooted: Dharmic Wisdom for Uncertain Times. They learned from important scholars like HH Keshava Swami about how the Bhagavad-gita can benefit students who feel apathetic towards life by giving them practical tools for navigating life’s daily challenges. It was a beautiful day to remember that ancient wisdom can help us all see the divine potential within ourselves.

Chanting in the Design District
On Sunday, the devotees brought the joy of Harinam (congregational chanting) to the Design District. Sharing the Holy Names in public is a way to look beyond our differences and connect through the humanity we all share. We loved seeing the light behind the face of everyone we met on the street.
Caring for Nature’s Miracles
We are very happy to have Yasoda Dulala prabhu visiting us from Texas to learn brahminical (spiritual) qualities. This week, he led a team of devotees in repotting our flowers which we offer to Krsna, and caring for our sacred Tulasi plants.
Want us to bring kirtan, talks, or prasadam to your home? Reach out to Vasanti at +1 (347) 727-8692.
All of our services are completely donation-based. We are happy to share this outpouring of the heart for no set price.
