See how, with your support, your Sacred Vedic Arts Bhakti-yoga Centre is developing in creating a spiritual atmosphere in Miami, helping souls connect with Sadhus from the holy lands of Vrindavan and Mayapur, and how it’s members are helping map the spread of Krsna Consciousness.
On Thursday, May 23, we were part of a Sound Bath event called ‘Samadi, Soul Ceremony,’ organised by Jennifer Denali (Janaki dasi) at The Ancient Spanish Monastery.
About 150 guests heard Srimati Syamarani Didi’s discourse and Janardana dasa’s Kirtana. We also distributed books, transcendental Art, and prasadam, a sacred vegetarian meal.
Srila Prabhupad’s Commemoration Ceremony
On Monday, May 27, we were invited to Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad’s 150th Advent commemoration ceremony, held at the South Florida Hindu Temple. The current president of Gaudiya Mission, Srila Bhakti Sundar Sanyasi Maharaj was the main force behind the event, and he was one of the guest speakers. As seen below, Srimati Syamarani Didi had the privilege to glorify Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad as well.

Deity Installation
It delights us to share with you some moments from the Deity Installation ceremony of Sri Sri Radha Raman Bihari Jiu. On Sunday June 2, Sripad Bhaktivedanta Madhav Goswami Maharaj mercifully came to Miami to do the honors. Maharaj also performed the pre-installation ceremony on Saturday, June 1, followed by a grand Maha Abhishek and Fire Sacrifice the next day.

A Birthday Celebration
This year, Thursday, June 4, also marked the 77th Birth Anniversary of Prabhupad’s and Gurudev’s daughter, Srimati Syamarani Didi. The atmosphere was electric as we welcomed devotees from around the world. Even Sripad Bhaktivedanta Madhava Maharaja was present.

Bringing More Sadhus To You
We were blessed to have the association of Pujyapada Srila Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Maharaj, present acharya of Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math, India, from June 5 to 10. Maharaja gave us his valuable time by speaking hari katha in Friday Night Kirtan, Sunday Love Feast and other morning sessions at SVA. In the evenings he held programs at devotees’ homes and at Vrnda temple, Miami.
Srila Bhakti Vichar Bishnu Maharaj and his three associate sannyasis honored us with their presence as well. Maharaja is the acharya of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission, and he is a longstanding and active member of the World Vaishnava Association. From June 17 to 19, he shared nectarian hari katha and gave his blessings.

Performing All Night Kirtan On Nirjala Ekadashi
As a community, we enthusiastically performed full night kirtans and bhajans on the most auspicious occasion of Pandav Nirjala Ekadashi on June 17. Sripad Bhakti Sundar Sadhu Maharaja, disciple of His Holiness Bhakti Vaibhav Puri Goswami Maharaj, gave us his association all night.
Making A Difference In Florida International University
Today, see how your Sacred Vedic Arts community went above and beyond to serve students at the FIU campus. On Thursday, June 13, on the occasion of ‘New Student Day’ we revisited the campus to have an interactive session with students and bring them closer to Vrindavan, the heart of Radharani by sharing with them Gurudev’s books and Syamarani Didi’s Arts.
Distributing Sacred Vedic Food
Distributing sacred food (prasadam) to the homeless has been a regular activity of our community. We cook with the consciousness that the food is first offered to Sri Radha Raman Bihiari Ji and what we distribute to others are Their nectarian remnants.
