Weekly Newsletter March 25 – 31, 2024

Welcome Sacred Vedic Arts friends and family,

Happy Holi!

This week we have some fun events lined up. On Saturday March 30th, we will be having a prasadam distribution event called “Serving smiles” from 9am-3pm. Transportation will be available for FIU students to and from campus. Come join us in distributing the mercy!

Also, on Saturday March 30th, the devotees from the the temple will be setting up a transcendental art and book booth at a Holi festival in Pembroke Park Reserve, North Miami. If you’re feeling fired up for distribution please join us Saturday morning.

Speaking of Holi, our Festival of Colors Miami is coming up in less than 3 weeks! We would love for you to participate by buying tickets, donating to the event, or signing up as a volunteer. Last year’s event was a huge success and we want this year to be even better. Our hope is that our guests will be leaving the festival hungry for more bhakti and inspired to come visit us at our center in the Design District.

Finally, check out our sister Janaki’s/Jennifer’s upcoming event called Samadi Ceremony, May 23rd. Janaki is partnering with SVA to offer a meditative evening with sound baths, kirtan, yoga, spiritual discussion with Srimati Syamarani Didi and more. A portion of the proceeds will be generously donated to the Sacred Vedic Arts Center. Get your tickets now and experience a memorable evening of prayer and devotion.
